Vegan Ramen and Gyoza
Today was my second cooking class with the lovely sisters behind “Grandma’s Shojin Ryori”; The sisters got into cooking Shojin Ryori for their own health about 20 years ago, and have been teaching it for last decade. They are the authors of two excellent homestyle Shojin books (first has been translated into English for Kindle).
Despite a slightly rainy start to the morning, the day turned out to be beautiful as the eight of us made our way through dozens of pleated gyoza
and homemade ramen. We finished our meal with a soy milk-based dessert.
